Photography Projects
As an artist, one of the ways I can explore this kind of meaningful experience in great depth, and amplify its meaning so that I can more consciously examine the resonance I feel, is by creating a complete body of photographs that as a visual whole gives symbolic form to my response. A photography project in homage to anything important to me is a sustained form of visual contemplation or meditation.
In 2025, amidst the chaos of the Trump Administration and the 2025 published agenda of the Christian Nationalists--which Trump and his lapdogs (including certain Supreme Court opportunists) seem to be following (quite unapologetically), it occurred to me that I have not yet paid visual homage to God, the Guru and the 1,000 other names given to the Supreme Creator . . .
Below is a list of photography projects that in various ways acknowledge and give visual form to the respect and gratitude I feel for that which has awakened me to the life I am living and the divine Presence and teachings that have helped me reach a more subtle understanding to the True meaning of living in a body, with all its sensory apparatus, and a mind that fails to comprenhend it all most of the time. The world I live in has an interior life as well as a physical corresponding form, and I am nevr happier than when I see the two reflected in each other in the form of a photograph that has come to me with grace.
The projects are listed chronologically, beginning with the earliest at the top; the most recent projects are listed at the bottom.
